This is the second section of the scouting help.
Advanced scouting is how you get exact numbers, or as close to exact numbers as you can get.
What will be covered here is based on scouts after you face your opponent, for rematch purposes.
-Opponents stats to within a point or two of -Finding exact KP on your opponent after a fight.
In the first section...the basics, we talked about how to find your opponents stats without having a fight to scout. 0(0) status and at invitational and clan battle levels.
In this section we will approximate almost to the tee, exactly the stats of our opponent.
It's real simple. After you fight your opponent, whether you win or lose, look at the first round. You're gonna see a whole bunch of numbers and crap ... it should look like this:
Your fighter lost 2.7 points of endurance this round due to damage, and 1.0 points due to fatigue. He took 7.5 points of stun damage this round. He has accumulated 3 points of damage in the fight.
Now these are numbers from a fight I just had today. It was my champion at Super Bantamweight. We will be using this as an example to find the stats of my opponent's fighter.
Okay here was my fighter's stats before the fight:
STR : 15 KP : 0 SPD : 21 AGL : 23 CHN : 9 CND : 16 5'5" a little heavy
Now in order to find our opponent's stats we need to look at our fighter's stun damage for the round.
"He took 7.5 points of stun damage this round."
So my fighter took 7.5 points of stun damage. From this we can get an idea of our opponent's stats.
Now it's all about plug and play. You go into the practice sim and you plug in the numbers.
1) Plug in the numbers of your fighter
2) Plug in the numbers of your opponent's fighter (a guessitimation)
3) Sim the fight and see how close you get to your numbers.
With that mentioned I have come up with this
My opponent:
STR : 10 KP : 3 SPD : 22 AGL : 19 CHN : 11 CND : 16 5'8" v.light
And these are the numbers I got from the sim...
Your fighter lost 2.7 points of endurance this round due to damage, and 1.0 points due to fatigue. He took 7.7 points of stun damage this round. He has accumulated 3 points of damage in the fight.
Now if you look at the original fight's numbers, which was:
"Your fighter lost 2.7 points of endurance this round due to damage, and 1.0 points due to fatigue. He took 7.5 points of stun damage this round. He has accumulated 3 points of damage in the fight."
You'll see that incredibly the numbers are very, very similar, so I can assume at this point that my opponent's stats are what I have guessitimated above.
And it's as easy at that. This works the best at 18(18) and 28(28) status where fighter's stats are set. You can do it at other status levels, but they become moot as the fighter's increase in status. Mind you it doesn't take into account AP losses, but that would have to be another guessitimation value you'd come up with.
This works well with rematches. The first section works well against 1st time opponents. Together these will make you a scouting master.
