I have a quick question regarding the amount of hours put in to your gym in WeBL..
Do/Did you find you spent longer online at the start and it decreases with time/knowledge, or is it the opposite, will I end up online even more once I am at the WT stage?
I find myself logging in and using practise sim, chatting with other manages and scanning all these help pages as I wait patiently for fights to happen. Is this just a novelty thing that will wear off?

It will more than likely wear off. Few managers find it possible to log in all these hours... Interest usually comes in spurts of activity. For a few weeks/months you will be extremely active, followed by periods where you don't spend so much time on the game...
Once you have a good fightplan library built up, you will not need to spend much time preparing for fights... It makes the game so much faster, when all you have to do is set your training and choose or quickly edit an existing fightplan.

For sure you'll spend less time as soon as you get major understanding of the game. Also the game allows to run any comfortable number of fighters, take a break at any moment without losing anything. So it depends on you wish/free time/motivation and even the style of how you run your fighters (how much time you spend on scouting, simming, writing/editing FPs/PR etc)
