His fighters are 400+ lbs, my fighter is 110 lbs. That's a 36.7% str bonus (to 300lbs). His fighter gets a 7 point str bonus from weight alone. He might be right when he said he doesn't know how to WeBL. His new heavyweights are all 400+ lbs.
Is the fatigue penatly worked out before the strength bonus? We do know that they way you're building these fighters is the best - maybe he is trying something new?

I love that even now, there is innovation in Webl. Even if that innovation is in out-voodooing voodoo.

I believe fatigue penalty factor in at the end of the round. I don't think he is trying anything new. I just don't think anyone with a clue has really tried to lose to him. Because of the str bonus, his fighter also lands more punches. I was doing sims on what ap to train during fights and the only time that my fighter can even land a punch is when he trains str.
As far as training, there is little difference damagewise between training chin and cond, but cond is the ap to train as it will lose to a chin-trained fighter. Training kp,spd, and str all do more damage. Training agil takes near half damage.
Sim session 3 finished. Learning from my mistakes.
I'll help you guys out, even Sin, who created mirror images of my fighters for the Voodoo tournament. ;)
Style and bonuses (assuming the fighters are equal):
Inside (worst style choice)
+1 Str
10% Damaged bonus
Clinch (fatigue kills, resting is bad)
+1 Agil
Agg reduced by 15% of opponent's Agg
The 15% of Agg that is reduced is used for resting
Feint (second best style choice. this is what Voodoo did against my fighter)
+1 Spd
+1 point of absorbable fatigue (he will absorb 1/2 point of fatigue with 1 Cond. So this in effect is 1/2 point of fatigue)
Counter-Punch
+1 Str
Lose 15% of Agg
Ropes (I still have to sim to see if it brings Agil to 0, but it still is not the best style)
-1 point Agil
Outside
+0.5 Agil
+0.5 Spd
Pow reduced by 15%
All-Out
Dam given is doubled
Dam taken is quadrupled
+1 Spd
Ring (best style choice to use to lose)
+1 Agil
Loses 1 point of fatigue (not absorbable)
Fatigue kills (resting saves), not the fatigue that is caused by being overweight. Being overweight (or heavier as in heavyweights) by as little as 1 lb will give a str bonus and that will tip the scales in the favor of the heavier guy for two guys using the same fp. The style that creates the most fatigue is Ring. The balance of energy points that causes the most fatigue is 18/1/1. Resting is bad, so 1/1/1 is bad.
