I'm the man, the myth, the legend.. I'm Ghosts who Walk. I started this game a long time ago under a different gym - I smoked a lot of weed (breakfast, lunch and dinner) in those days and had actually absolutely no idea what the hell I was doing - I think I eventually got banned for creating a 2nd gym. After a bit of a break (I actually couldn't remember the name of the site) I eventually found the site again and created this Ghosts who walk. Much like Zam I was banned, gagged suspended on so many occasions I have lost track. And much like Zam I did that as this was what I chose to do - hell I still enjoy the verbal stoushes on the forums now (I'm just a little wiser now to not get myself gagged) On my comeback I decided I was actually going to be good at this game - so read about fighter builds, fighter plans etc "Unforgivens" site was an excellent source of information - it may have even been there where I read the best way to learn the game was master 1 style of figter first before learning others. So due to the flexibility of KP I decided to make KP Dancers my bread and butter (hours upon hours of simming plans seeing how they faired in certain match up and tactics), I dabbled with KP Balanced fighters but KP Dancers where where I made my mark. I have won world titles with endurance based fighters Ropists, Freak clinchers and counterpunchers but the bulk of my WT's were KP fighters. I would have to say that Ghosts "Black Widow" was my favourite creation he fought in the unsanctioned region and is the greatest heavyweight (title wise) to ever fight in the region. Although I'm sure Zam will have something to say about that

I'm Jimmy the Harp. I used to be Solitaire and then the Hermit and then Bukowski and then I did a combined gym with BK master Vrykoulakas.
I have WTs with freak clinchers and some kpdancers. I started at EKO and TBG and came over here around week 30. I didn't start winning world titles until much later when I spent some time and concentrated on contenders. Until then, i used same pre-made fps that won fights in regionals. They didn't work above 50% in contenders, so I started scouting a little and paying attention more and writing 10-15 line fps for my contenders fights and starting winning more.
That's it. I might call you a gimp or tell you you're a cocksmoker, but I don't mean it too much.

Without Remorse is my manager name, in real life it's Joe. I joined WeBL back in week 119. The thing I remember about WeBL back then, was that so many great managers were willing to answer questions regarding fight strategy, proper fighter builds, writing proper conditionals, and so on... The help section of the forums were a wealth of information. Managers like HOLE, Albino, Tex, and many others would offer advice to anyone who asked. It was a great way to learn. I never really had "mentor" in the game. HOLE helped a lot of the up and coming Gulf States gyms back then. He even organized a "Colts Tourney" where the up and coming Gulf States guys fought the UK up and comers. I don't remember which team won the tournament, but I remember beating my opponent. This was a good confidence builder. It was guys like HOLE that made a fun atmosphere to learn in. I think the one guy that was closest to a mentor at any time, would have been Code Blue. He fought with different styles of fighters than I did, but he was always available to bounce ideas off of during a time when I was learning the game. I later found like minded managers to bounce ideas off of from time to time. Jimbo and StraightJacket to name a couple. I have a made a few friends in the game Dirty Deeds, SJ, Doc, Fisty, Entrails, Jimbo, Locky, Italiano, and a few others I am sure have forgot to mention. I am sure I have a few enemies as well. I used to love to get certain managers like Stick n Move and Gizmo all wound up in simbot. They would always take their ball and go home. I still laugh at the thought of Stickers being so mad, that all he could tell me was to go #$%@ myself. I use to be an eff'n asshole. I have calmed down a bit. I'm just an ass every once in a while these days. Fair warning, once you start to think I’m a nice guy, I’m gonna find the opportunity to body allout your ass into retirement. I live for shit like that. I mostly manage Ropists, Balanced, Counterpunchers, and a rare clincher/slugger. I am not a KP manager. Not my cup of tea. I am singleminded in my desire to wear my opponent down and inflicting pain while winning by decision or KO. Matt “The Final Blow” Sullivan won my very first Regional Title vs. Brooklyn Bad Boy ~Founding Father of WTA Inc.~ I own Italiano!!! “I’m the Juggernaut, Bitch” won my Olympic Gold Medal vs. A Tribute to Dylan Doyle <Evil Empire> I own Italiano!!!!!!! Mack “The Executioner” Bolan won my first World Title vs. Baltic Sea Study Fighters [KOP] . . . . . . . I own Ita… just screwing with ya bro!

Ghosty,
Yeah, when I read it I remembered your fighter, but I couldn't remember if I managed to beat him...and then I thought like...well, usually I have won big fights...checked the fighter and I see 3 wins over him with 2 losses I think heh heh
Also I remember, it was our rematch in HW WT fight with Alfie Norks and there was a thread in Lounge about it I think...and some really good manager with Inv titles laughed on both our plans...but he didn't know I at least was simming this fight for like 4 hours or more, even in the middle of night to find a secure line to win this fight. If I remember it was like a lot of stuns and maybe even Norks was KO'd in the end
WeBL is like you never know how much time someone spent to win a fight and sometimes it looks like a rookie fight
As for Invitational tourneys, for me it's like you need a lot of luck to win this. I remember when I was a favourite in Jr Olys after winning WT in HW with an undefeated fighter and I lost in semi final, because a guy put in stock WeBL FP "Boxing I" or other when I checked this and it just had a stun line there LOL...BIG LOL...I love WeBL
I also remember when Code Blue was really mad he lost again Inv tourney (I was chatting with him a lot) and was really an excellent manager
Even Kachalka had a lot of problems with Inv tourneys in the beginning and his record was like 2-6 or something

I remember the Alfie Norks Vs Ghost Rider fights very well.. Again another time where we really went at it in the press and on the forums.. Fight 1 webl.vivi.com/cgi-bin/query.fcgi?+team_id=1216331&session=418&+command=query_report&+competition=eko&+region=Webl-revival&+division=Heavy Fight 2 webl.vivi.com/cgi-bin/query.fcgi?+team_id=1216331&session=426&+command=query_report&+competition=eko&+region=Webl-Revival&+division=Heavy I was very much the same simming 1 fight for hours on end, just trying to see how I could etch out the second win - I did know that Norks was always up against it (I was pretty sure he had already lost his first AP by that stage as well which made the first win all the more impressive for me)

I'm T.A.E now fighting as Golden Goal.
Always fought out of Oceania and then Indo-Pacific. I think I've been in two WT fights and lost both. One was with a fighter that had 28 conditioning or something ridiculous. A waste of APs. Both of these WT fighters were Balanced/CPers throughout their career. Both of them never stood a chance with me being their manager!
T.A.E stood for Trial and Error. One of the Filipino gyms pointed out that TAE means "shit" in their local language. Golden Goal just refers to my obsession with winning the big one. It seems like many people don't value WTs as much these days but for me it will always be the ultimate goal. I won the Junior Olympics that is probably my highlight in the ring up to this point. Since the revival however I have become nearly as bad as Ghosts has become. I have an ugly below 0.500 record which is annoying because I was actually trying very hard to win! Admittedly I have been trying out some new builds I've never ran before such as clinchers, flashers and ropists. I didn't win a single fight with any of my ropists. But I have also lost some fights I thought for sure I would win so struggling at the moment. I don't mind losing at all as long as I'm learning from it but unfortunately I only have time on the weekends to look closely at my fights or on days like today where I pull a sickie from work.
I've been in two clans. The Brotherhood and Lords of the Ring. The Brotherhood was kind of on its last legs when I joined but there was still some great people active for a while. LotR was even better a great group of guys some of which will go on to dominate this game. But with the revival I wanted a fresh start. I also tried to start my own clan called SoW (Students of WeBL) not realising that a sow is a pig but then the LotR guys talked me out of it. It's still something I'd like to do one day but I don't have as much time as I'd like and am not at a high enough level. Not sure what I have to offer as a teacher but will try my best to help out in any way I can.
Chris

Im Lethal (Obviously not my real name, D-Block came up with it I think) Been around WeBL since week 465. My specialty is counter punchers and i'm quite handy with KP Dancers. Sluggers and Ropists are builds that I would like to learn but have had mixed results so far! I've had help mainly from reading the help pages (Unforgiven's is a must!) and various clan mates over a couple of years.
Looking to get over the 10 WT mark when Contenders finally re-opens and as I always run a large gym I will have my hands full, looking forward to passing on what I know and also learn from the other guys on here!

Hey lads, Locky here, gym name 'Lockside Thunder Hawk' 1st off I gotta be honest I'm a wee bit embarrassed by the 'teacher' tag - cheerleader would better suit I've been in this great game since around 2005 and I don't mind admitting I love this game, from fighter building to fight planning, best damn game there is !!! I started off losing more than I won in my 1st 6 months,I was quite happy creating fighters with silly names and just enjoyed the concept of the game.Like everyone though (other than Dr VooDoo) I wanted to win a title or two.. Joined the UK forum, met some great managers, got great advice.Participated in the 'newbie tourney' and got invited to join <UV> <UV> was where I learned the game, great clan.Their aim was to turn newbies into title winning gyms - EVERY member (I believe went on to win a title of some kind) My favourite 'home' or 'Revival' fighters are Ropists,Counter Punchers or Balanced fighters BUT more than any thing I enjoy the BK region. Before 'the great WEBL crash' I'd won around 225 BK titles,I'm counting down the days until the BK region returns and I can continue to chase the legendary RRRR title haul (lots of work to be done) Made some great WEBL mates (you all know who you are) looking forward to sharing the WEBL ring with you all in the years to come

Nice to see you signed up Locky! Judging by what i've seen in the UK region you will make a fine teacher.. One of the most underrated managers i've seen, wouldn't be surprised to see you with a bucketload of WT's once the game gets going.

Hello all, Rotmo here. Registered on this forum a while ago, fully intending to be active, but promptly forgot about it. Sorry about that, but I'll try to make up the lost time I started this game around August/September 2001 I believe, and have been active since (with some short breaks). Spent the first year doing most of the rookie mistakes before pulling myself together and actually learnt the game. I have never been a part of a clan or had any mentors, but soaked up every bit of info on the help pages of Albino/Rife, as well as WeBLs own help forum. I also spent a lot of time on the Scandinavian WeBL Forum (sorta like a clan I guess), and learned a lot from talking to and fighting the best managers in a region which was, at the time, probably the best region in the game. We had Umeå West Side, Democratic Republic of Aggerud, tnt-the newbie troop, foxxx, Studs on Steroids, Anfield Road, Flat Out, PityPart, etc....the region was absolutely loaded with talent. I currently run nothing but balanced fighters (str = speed = agility, roughly), and have been doing that for as long as I can remember. I have probably won Scandinavian RTs with most fighter types though, but never done anything good in contenders with a different fighter type. The one exception is the flasher I won a WT with, but I hate flashers so it doesnt count One of my WeBL goals is to win WTs with a wide variety of fighter types though. Accomplishments : - First manager to 1000 titles overall (including all specialty regions). - I believe I still am the manager with most titles overall (1501 titles at the time of writing), but need to verify that... - Won the (probably) biggest "Race" in WeBL, the Iddo Cult Follower race. Iddo is one of WeBLs greats, who retired at 40-0, with 15 wt's. The goal of this race was to try and copy that, and I went furthest, taking my Iddo Cult Follower to a record of 26-0-1 before the 1st loss. Eventually managed to copy Iddos 15 WTs with him, but his record got a bit worse... - Never did anything good in any invitational. Best result is a Bronze medal in Sr.Olympics. - Managed the fighter with most titles in any region : Experi-Mental, 110 titles in the experimental region (probably the easiest WeBL-region...). - Think I have a couple of fighters who won WTs undefeated (with fast track), but again : verification needed
