If your group says "Teacher", give a little introduction here. Talk about your experience level or successes, the methods that brought you to where you are now, and what you look to do in the future. Tell a story about your favorite fight, or feud... perhaps best invitational performance...
This is your space. Be creative, but help give the experience a more personal feel.
I'll get one of these up for me at some point tonight.

Ok, here goes.
I'm Jimbo. I go by Jim Sardonic. It's not my real name, but the first band I ever played in was a Ramones-esque three chord punk rock band called "The Sardonics". We took the cue of "Joey Ramone... DeeDee Ramone..." and stole it for our own. Everyone else moved on -- but for me, probably twenty bands later, and at least fifteen years -- I'm still Jim Sardonic.
I played Webl, taking great pride in being part of a hugely underappreciated but remarkably strong US Central. Most of the help I received was from Boozefighters, a legend in his own right, and a solid guy. There was quite a bit of help from Unforgiven, Bixley, DegenerationX, Lamb's Arena, Muscle Beach, and others... but one of the things that made the biggest difference in my Webl career was being picked up out of the rookies division by a clan.
Dirty Deeds and Warrior's Haven asked me to join them in a clan called UV -- or UltraViolence -- a nod towards Kubrick's "A Clockwork Orange". The three of us grew quite a bit, as did the clan, and it was only a matter of time until we had some really solid success. It was a great thing, building a clan like that and watching it grow from two rookie managers and a down-on-his-luck veteran... into, I think at one point almost twenty members, most of whom attained at least one world title.
I spent a few years as a Mod. Not sure I would ever do that again, truly a pain in the balls.
I prefer to run ropists and agile sluggers, though I do also like to dabble in KP. My weak points lie in Counterpunchers/Dancers. I just don't get them. I started as a purely slugger manager, or sometimes going with the occassional clincher or freak clincher -- I like to know that my opponent hurt after the fight -- but it turned out that the AGL was the key to ensuring that pain.
We'll get into that theory all eventually.
I like to think I'm pretty well rounded, have a solid understanding of the sim. Have plenty of theory packed in my brain on builds, the cycle of webl, fight plan creation, and even experience with what methods of teaching helped people most. I hope this works out as I have envisioned -- perhaps we can see the growth from 0(0) fighters to World Champions yet again!

I'm Sanford or Bill. Sanford is not my real name (Bill is).
I've been playing WeBL for a long time. All of my original fighters were discards. My first RT was from a discarded fighter. My first WT was from a discarded fighter (it was also the first Tomato Can ever to win a WT). I did not learn to build fighters right away, obviously. I did learn to write fight plans, though, and it seems over the past two years I have forgotten it again.
I was (or still am) known as a KP Dancer manager, even though I have gotten every fighter type to 28 status and won WT's with most of them. I really prefer to run balanced fighters (and other non-kp fighters). I find it is much more enjoyable to deal damage to other fighters than to stun-point win.
I, like Jim, have spent a couple of years as a WeBL mod. Things changed for the worse when Morton took over, so I stepped down.
I've been in several clans (TDC, VVV and BTP) and have been in a couple of combined gyms (TDC, LikQid). I have gotten help from many managers over the years, most notably The Hole, who showed me how to write kp dancer fight plans. I have tried to save much of what I have found online over the years and want to help new gyms get better. My advice may not always be the best advice, but it worked for me most of the time.

The name is Italiano. The funny thing is that I'm not italian at all, it just goes with the gymname. I started out back in the summer of 2006. I was never really heavily fight plan oriented, because of the managers I got help from were really great at building good fighters. A UK gym called Pips fighting machine helped with sluggers because he was an excellent Bare Knuckle region manager. He told me 90% of his fights were won because of his build. I thought this was amazing because I was new, it seemed so easy. He showed me a few of his fighters and how to build them from 0(0) to 18(18). This was the basis of my WeBL time. I've more or less perfected every fighter build in WeBL and have won a RT with everyone. I could've and should've been more successful in Contenders. I can say that my record and my knowledge do not matchup at all. My problem back then was that I was never patient enough to actually fight plan the way I should. Anyway... I got help from Jimbo and the UV (Ultra Violence) clan as a new gym. They really helped me out to understand the game better. Then there was a clan called SoS (Society of Sickness) that helped me as well. I won my first RT against one of their old members, Straightjacket, I believe. And won and defended my first WT against another SoS gym called Caramba. My first clan... The Brotherhood is what pushed me over the top, as I became known as one of the premier up and coming gyms in 2006. Won my first RT and WT within the same year I started. I've gotten major help from much of the UK region as well as one of my rivals Ghosts Who Walk, an old oceania gym. I've been in five clans (The Brotherhood, Judgment Inc., Gangstaz, Sos, and TDC). Only two of those clans are still currently active. I've been on three junior olympic teams and one senior olympic team. Had two opportunities to fight for the gold, but again lazy fightplanning came into play. All in all I've pretty much enjoyed every moment I've had with WeBL. The good, the bad, and the ugly. I love this game.

Wassup Guys Sin-N-Terror's Gym here (formerly Senator's Gym). My story is long because my career in WeBL has been long. I've been off and on this game since it first started. I began playing in middle school and continued off and on through high school and college. There were years in between where I didn't play at all but something always brought me back... I had never played anything like it. I was hooked from the beginning. I created my first gym back in week 8 and closed it to reopen Senator's Gym in week 25. Since then I've never operated any other gym. Now in those early days I was a fan first, manager second. I spent more time reading the heavyweight rankings and fight reports than I did grooming my knowledge of the game. My record suffered for this in the early days and that can explain why my early record looks so bad. I remember waking up on Saturday mornings to read every fight report from (in my opinion WeBL's first great Heavyweight Champion) Konck "Alhoolic" Nock Nock. He was an absolute freak. Standing 7'1" and over 430 lbs. he dominated the game for his time. I wanted to model my fighters after him. After all he was unbeatable in this games early history. I want to think he was the first 10-0-0 world champion, which today sounds like nothing impressive but for the time was amazing. I picture him in my head as a really fat Butterbean figure just fatter and stronger (and meaner since he liked to cheat). NOTE: Like I said, Nock Nock was WeBL's first great World Heavyweight Champion who only went 10-0-0. Since that time I've had numerous 10-0 fighters whose names I cant even recall. This speaks volumes about the evolution of this game from the early days to the game as we play it today, in itself it deserves to be written down, but it deserves someone much more aware than me to dive into that subject. If you are interested in the history of our game and some of its great early champions. Here's a few Heavyweights that I enjoyed following in my younger years. I feel like I grew up watching them as other young kids grew up watching the real great champs like Ali, Frazier, Liston, etc. - Konck "Alhoolic" Nock Nock (discussed earlier) - Mongo (had some great rivalries with Nock Nock and Who) - Who (replaced Nock Nock as WeBL's dominate champ). First Heavyweight champ to go 16-0-0. I thought he would never lose. - Sweetness T. Rolmones (legendary fighter who broke Who's streak). I actually beat him late in his career when he was all washed up AND I literally felt bad about it. Can't believe Ty let that happen to him. - Terry Dactile (the fighter who smashed Who's undefeated streak by going 25-0 with a few draws) - -!!! SLick Customer !!!- and Chul-Wan Ahn (two great fighters who captured wt gold many times but whose managers kept them fighting to long. They both fought over 100 times each and fought each other around 10-15 times. Their fights were a must read. Now back to my history which is after all the subject of this thread. I had some success at this game early on I racked up a couple dozen Regional Titles, but that success never transitioned into Contenders. As much as I loved the game I grew tired of losing and retired my gym only to come back years later. I did this a few times actually until I finally decided to ask for help. I got help from many different guys (including Italiano though I must confess I've lost respect for him now that I know he isn't really Italian.) j/k. I joined a clan called Harsh Times and though the clan was made up of guys no better than myself it helped me come out of my shell. Whereas before I was quite on boards and in the forums I began talking more and more. I grew a great relationship with those guys and will never forget my times in HT. Sometime while fighting for Harsh Times I started talking to Ghosts Who Walks. Now this guy has always been one of my favorite gyms in the game, but Ghosts is... well... Ghosts. He's brutally honest and has been known to cause a ruckus in the forums from time to time. Regardless of how people view him he is hands down one of WeBL's greats when it comes to understanding of the game and sim. I reached out to him, he helped me, and I have looked up to the guy since. That's when everything started changing. I found out that what I had been doing with my fighter builds had been killing me in contenders because of the damage I had been taking. By the time my fighters made it to contenders, they were all beat up or lacked the Agility to stand with the competition. I made the adjustment and the payoff was immediate With my added success I asked for and was granted acceptance into the clan Evil Empire. I met other great managers like: Zam, Vault, L'gros, Villains, etc. I am happy to say that I am still in this clan today. Just a few of my meager accomplishments: - Definitely one of the managers with the most time between first fight (week 8) and winning first World Title (week 566) - Hows that for patience??? - Ranked in the top 5 America East all time win-percentage (behind AoP and Undiscovered) - 2 Time Jr. Olympic Participant (never got a medal - I blame laziness) - Senior Olympic Captain and Heavyweight Participant for America East prior to the crash (postponed) A few of my Goals - Win a Heavyweight WT (A hard task considering the win streak needed to get the opportunity. I have fought for, but have yet to win, the Heavyweight World Title. - Medal in a Senior Olympics - Win an official WeBL Invitational For me the crash came along at an awkward time. I had just started finding success in the game when the server crashed. I thought we would never play this great game again. I am glad that is not the case, and so I think Jim had a great idea for this place for new gyms to come and learn the ropes. Since the game is older, we may not get very many new participants, but I feel sure that we will get a few. We must make every attempt to keep those new guys interested in the game. This is the place for that to happen. I'm excited and willing to offer any assistance that may be needed. Feel free to contact me on this site or by email. bradlvaught@gmail.com

AC here gents Love Jimbos idea hear and see many great gyms abouve there..Webls bad boy here but I always like to help out new gyms that are willing to learn and have like I do with that old school game.I run the Combo gym with my TDC Clanmates Jimmy the Harp and Rockers called Devil's Wolfpack, pretty much will end up in that for the rest of the days.
I love all fighters builds and run them all,I gotta say slugging is alot of fun right now lol..I like even when you win with a slugger you dish out Injury Points also adding to the pain.Kp is also very much fun to play with and keep great gyms like you see above honest in the game a few times..This is a old school game but I love boxing and the people that play this most to be honest..I love Clans in the game so much fun to host clan wars and all kinds of fights and trash talk that comes with all them..TDC and most everyone you will talk with here will get you on your way to kicking ass in Webl for sure just asking anything no matter who dumb you think it migght sound..
Just check out our gyms, look up fights and you will see that Jimbo and everyone knows there stuff here so lets get going and bring alot of talet to Webl and keep this game going for the Old farts we have still playing!!!

Gotta love the confidence! Just don't bite off more than you can chew, talk smack is a powerful art in Webl Lol, I learned this the hard way. After winning my first WT. I thought I was the ish, so I challenged some veterans to private region battles cause I thought I had a great understanding of the game. Yeah...there was sooo much more I had to learn. Just don't get too excited and arrogant. It'll bite you in the butt. I definitely learned my lesson.

I'm Zamulacze...It generally means "shy people" in Polish (I'm from Poland). Well, I can definitely say I have long history in this game, even short story would be too long to write heh heh, so it will be extra-mega-giga short story:
1. Joined public WeBL in 2005. I'm not a restart = Zamulacze is my first solo gym, then I played for a bit in combined gym Death with two my EE clan mates. Now I play in Awful Performance gym which generally supposed to be auto/premade gym full of discards, but surprisingly I started to win too much and sometimes I put in an effort even there. Don't know what will be in the future, but I have there about 250 ready Contenders and generally I plan to beat them all out earlier or later
2. I had a lot of success in the game in almost every region (won titles in every region, but Inv and Pro with good or very good win%), and won some really important fights etc. etc. It would be just too long to write about it
3. I used to be "pain in the ass" on WeBL forum (gagged like 100 times and even banned for half a year or something similar), but this is how I liked to play the game. Other than that I helped/gave advice to many managers (even outside my clan or home region)
4. No one really mentored/tutored me. I like to do things on my own. Read help pages, EE gave me a lot when I joined too in the beginning. Later, I met Code Blue and he showed me a few builds and literally a couple FPs. I had also contact with Schnake and Lipo, but I was a decent manager then (after winning WT with an undefeated fighter) and it were questions like "how many lines does your FP have?", "how look your stun/endurance lines?", "are you using this or that?" etc. etc.
If anyone has question about me then just ask

When I joined this forum Jimbo asked me if I wanted to be a Teacher or a Student, I think I'm both, so I thought I'd throw my name out there.
I started a new gym for the Revival: Altruistic Artists of America <UV>. But, I started way back in 2000 I think, and have run a couple gyms since then. I was/am not very good at the game, but I know everything you can read in the WeBL help pages, and probably a bit more.
I was one of the first members in UltraViolence with Jimbo, where I really learned how to play the game, as you can see by my record in Clockwork Orange UV.
My weakness in the past (and apparently my first 6 fights in the revival) is laziness in scouting and FP writing. So, I know a lot (Teacher) but I'm now working on putting it all together to get my fist WT (Student)
