yeah, I see the merit in a balanced fighter, it is just a lot of work as you have to scout well to find where your advantage lies, and you are unlikely to have a large style advantage since you aren't built to have that advantage

Well guys, I think I love you. Going deeply into fighting styles, I'm looking at my fp in a completely different way and I think I'm slightly improving in their global conception; by the way today my Ibarra in Light-Heavy, even won against LikQid fighter LikQid Cannonball. I had to send back the priest that I called for the extreme unction and the coffin that I ordered for him when I saw that he had a fight against LikQid. One fight means nothing but, well, it's a good first step that makes me happy

What's not to love Congrats, the first of many big wins, and you kept yourself in the rookie tourney with the much needed win. Keep up the good work.

Thanks again for your feedback and your time. In the first one I was lucky that it worked, I thought that that KP deserved some respect, so I tried the bold allout. In the second one I screwed up completely on endurance evaluation, I'm still struggling a lot in this and if I can say that I improved a lot in almost everything, I'm still very weak in writing "endurance lines". Anyway thanks again for this fights, if we put our fighters in the refrigerator some time, may we put them in the microwave for some new lesson in the future? Thanks!

Any chance that I could get in on this action? These practice fights seem like a good way to learn some

I'll leave these two unretired, you may do what you like with them. See you soon on the ring, champ.

What format do you want- your fighter vs mine? Then create yours and gimme his name.
...and better retire him to avoid autoscheduling.

palestraitalica I'll leave these two unretired, you may do what you like with them. See you soon on the ring, champ. Thank you very very much, if you will be always available it could be interesting in the next future to test my progress (if any will occur ^^) with some other test fight. I'll try to run Lenny Scott, after all he deserves his chance and I like Kp fighters. Anyway If I'm not wrong we have another exhibition fight, my Sammy Gibbs vs your Scott, I'll try to give him his first win with a proper fp.

At least I was able to take a draw, better that usual lost fight. I really don't know what I'd have do to take the win, maybe one rest line earlier, around round 8, maybe, but to be honest I can't see if there were another way to win this fight. In any case thanks for these fights and for your feedback!!!

lol, no luck, palestra
but still I don't recomend you to play these jabs games with KP fighter. In my usual FP there's a line about losing the whole fight and my fighter just goes allout in these situations. Jabs may be used to win rounds but the main goal for non KP vs KP is to make him tired, so you need to go to the body- win a round- go to the body etc
I showed you a bad example by losing my first fight vs your KP-dancer, but in general it was a right tactic 7/6/7 to win rounds and 4B/9/7 to make KP dancer tired.

My fight vs McMeekin's webl.vivi.com/cgi-bin/query.fcgi?+team_id=1536518&session=652&+command=query_scout&+competition=eko&+region=Contenders&+division=Heavy&+describe=1Some notes. You started this fight with right lines- you went to the body and used a correct style- ring. For sure your fighter has more points in agility than mine. But after first few rounds you began to use very strange lines. First of all you should not use clinch or inside styles vs. my fighter cos you have no advantage in strength over me. My stats: Strength 20 Knockout Punch 0 Speed 12 Agility 12 Chin 10 Conditioning 13 So my strength is 20. What is yours? 25? I doubt. General rule is: the shorter- the stronger. If you face an opp who is much shorter than your fighter it means he's stronger i.e. he has more points in strength, i.e. his styles are clinch and inside cos these two styles benefit strength advantage. Clinch: if the fighter has a higher STR than his opponent, 50% of his STR advantage is added to his AGL. Inside: any STR advantage he has over his opponent is increased by 50%. So when MY fighter uses inside HE gains some extra strength cos he has this advantage. For example I guess your str is about 12, so using inside I had: 20-12= 8 (this is that str advantage), 50% of it= 4. So I get +4 additional points in strength (24 in total) when I use inside vs you. But you get nothing using inside cos you got no str advantage over me (12<20). Get it? So clinch and inside ain't good styles to use for you. You have an agility advantage. So ring and ropes are suitable. You have speed + height advantage over me, so counter is OK. But not inside, never. And another thing- what for did you go to the head? You have some KP? Or you were afraid that I have? When you go to the head while I go to the body,I win endurance, I make you tired. To win endurance means to win the whole fight in most cases. So you were defeated cos you used wrong styles and went to the head with no reason. try again
